The internet is a wealth of information and a great resource to obtain data in a matter of seconds. It's also a great tool for staying connected and being part of a global community and having privileges such as making online transactions, researching, downloading/file sharing, chatting, communicating with people all around the world, or just plain surfing the web.

This is the first of a two part article on Internet Security. This article will focus on the harm that predators can do to your computer while you are attached to the Internet.
